Next time a politician says 'we must address the root causes of violence', ask whether they're referring to 1) evolutionary processes of sexual selection 2) genetic influences on aggressiveness & impulsivity, or 3) over-regulated economies that incentivize 'illegal markets'

Yep, but I think heritable sociopathy/psychopathy is driving a lot of the 'antisocial attitudes', rather than the attitudes shaping the aggressiveness.

Very very smart people can really feel they are thinking clearly here. But, the fact is: the magical belief that allows a person to shoot a stranger has the same structure of the magical belief about heaven. Unless, you play with words. I like that you don't do that w/ crime.
