As a psych. professor, Geoffrey, don't you think it's obvious the entire western society suffers from what I would call the "victimization race"? Every group (politic, gender, ethnic, social) tries to show up as THE biggest victim of "others".
Lots of folks act that way, for sure. Others don't have better things to do.
