The ideological 'context' of #KillAllMen is two decades of Manosphere guys pointing out much higher rates of death, injury, & suicide in men v. women -- and gender feminists claiming that anybody who mentions such disparities must be a sexist. Male deaths don't matter to them.

There are good reason to focus in what causes more actual damage. We ignore that, for example, that women seem to participate in the same amount of low level domestic violence as men(Straus2004)(Whitkaker, 2007), because they kill and cause serious harm much less frequently
