Conspiracy theories: Unacceptable: some Youtube guy convinces a few thousand followers that lizard people are an issue. Acceptable: thousands of faculty convince millions of students to reject Western Civilization's core values as nothing more than systemic racism & sexism.

It’s genuinely weird to me how you only complain about perceived threats to “core values” when they’re attack by leftists. Do you see any attacks from the Right? See them, but don’t care? See them, and approve?
If the Right had any power in academia or mainstream media, I might worry more about their influence on core values.

Exactly ^ It’s not like climate change deniers are common sights at the front of your environmental science 101 classes. They’re fringe views and are treated as such. Why not the same treatment for much of the PoMo jargon from academics?
