Does free speech protect fake news? These companies should rightly be doing everything in their power to stop misinformation. Opinion is different than malicious false representation of objective facts.

Just popping in with logical counterpoints here. Nobody's rights are being infringed upon. Private businesses are under zero obligation to provide a pulpit to anyone and everyone. Jones et al are still allowed to speak their minds.

Twitter, Facebook and others will need to as they work to fight it. Misinformation is an equal and overlapping threat to society. Solutions will require compromise but the end result can’t be families with dead children constantly being on the run because of Jones’s message.
