Not being fat+weak and having decent shoes does make a big difference. From my experience, the first two places women tend to look are the shoulders and your feet. Pay careful attention to their eyes when they look at guys and you'll see it. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

It's not intended as serious research by any stretch, but there's virtually no research on the topic, so there it is. At least the online sample was more representative of young single American women than most university samples are.
