Let's say after the peaceful utopian dawn of anarchy I go on a bender and declare myself Supreme Warlord and organize my followers into a hierarchical bandit horde. How do you propose to stop me? #BurgeMob

So, if people didn't need government, then people wouldn't need government?

I would probably like my neighborhood warlord a lot better than the super powerful ones in DC. He or she would at least know my name and try to keep me happy.

Government led to horrible conditions every time it was tried, until it didn't. Talking about kinds if anarchy is no different from kinds of government. Both are just ways humans organize themselves.

Except one is based on voluntary interaction and the other is based on the barrel of a gun.

We absolutely notice this. We just believe that rather than the ~220 warlords who rule now. If there were 10,000 any one of them would have less power to interfere w/ your life. E.g. Somali warlords had 0 influence on my life other than one movie. 7 Billion would be better.

Genuine statelessness like Neutral Moresnet which lasted 104 years, or Cospaia which lasted 380ish years? States are comprised warlords conquering peaceful people.

Moresnet had royally appointed commissioners and a mayor, Cospaia had elder councils and chiefs at various points. That all sounds like hierarchy to me.
