Side note: Just watched an in-depth video of how some guy took a photo similar to this. Also went into detail of how two channels of audio (stereo) are encoded in a single groove. I'm consistently impressed at historic engineering feats given the limitation of tech at the time.

As a kid, I remember pretending dust floating in sunlight was the different instruments coming out of my dad's awesome speakers. You can hear everything on vinyl, even the "space" between instruments. Digital music is a hot mess.

"The truth is in the groove!" If you have kids, play vinyl, play a lot of vinyl. Just watch what happens.
