I wish that the NY journalists would just stop writing for a couple of weeks every summer, drive across America, and talk with some ordinary folks. Maybe even listen. Go to some ranges, sing in some churches, get to know their fellow citizens. Might help.

The majority of "ordinary folk" live in and around cities. They are the backbone of this country, not those on "ranges."
