I wish that the NY journalists would just stop writing for a couple of weeks every summer, drive across America, and talk with some ordinary folks. Maybe even listen. Go to some ranges, sing in some churches, get to know their fellow citizens. Might help.

If that's all it would take there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. Nobody understand the caustic and poisoning effects of academia to warp normal minds into believing the nonsense about societal power structures and the need to destroy capitalist and racist patriarchies
But meeting ordinary folks would disprove the 'systemic power' nonsense pretty quickly.
