Hi Dr. Miller, how far do you think yet-to-be-developed nootropics could theoretically move the needle of intelligence? Perhaps 15 IQ points on average? This would be equal to half a century of the Flynn effect. Interested to hear you expand on this.

I'm not sure. Transiently, maybe 1/2 SD. A bit more than coffee can. But I doubt we'll find nootropics that can sustain a chronic IQ boost of more than a few points. But we won't know til folks do more research...
