the @NYTimesPR hiring a monstrous racist on their editorial board
I didn't advise firing anyone. But if she didn't clarify her old tweets in any coherent way, the NYTs knows what they are getting.
she did clarify, she said she was counter trolling as satire and that she regretted her actions.
That's the same as racism. Having a reason doesn't elevate it. All racists have their reasons.
That's a key point. All racism feels reactive and righteously justified to the racist. It never feels like you're the initiator.
