Well, @JamesADamore advocated evidence-based ways to increase diversity at @Google, whereas @sarahjeong advocated straight-up anti-white racism. So there's no real comparison.
I think what James Damore failed to account for was they his memo reduced his value as an engineer to Google. Many people no longer wanted to work with him. His ability to influence and work with others was greatly compromised.
