If you challenge people's habits, people will troll you. If you challenge institutions, their beneficiaries will smear you. If you challenge ideologies, online lynch mobs will try to ruin you. If your ideas are relevant to public issues, some of the public will hate you.

Very wise. On Facebook I just tried to discuss animal charities policy of fit animal euthanasia and was told (in not so many words) I was a bleeding heart liberal, animal lovers didn't understand the 'final' solution, kill them all and I should 'suck it up' Lovely!
