I was raised 'democratic socialist.' Yet by 33 saw myself as American center conservative (pro-mass invasion is radical/anti-con). My change was learning who I was. IMO, degree of conservatism is hard wired by genes and brain dev in childhood. As is degree of thrill seeking.

Not so sure. People have gone through wars and buried their own children w/out changing their politics. Others have changed radically w little outward stimulus. I don’t understand it.
