When people are honest, the quantity of a thing tends to rise as its status increases, But when people are hypocritical, activity can lower as status rises. For example, we appear to have raised the status of marriage of & of kid's lives, and yet actually get less of both.
Are there any metrics by which the status of monogamy or pronatalism have increased in the last few decades? Asking for a civilization facing demographic collapse.....
