This is one of those moments when a Twitter poll is super useful. Looks like it would be a bad idea to use 'Pair Bonds' as the title of my next book....

Don Symons cautioned against using "pair bonding" to explain human sexual evolution. E.g., loss of estrus mainly helped females secure male investment by confounding paternity certainty; pair bonding was merely a byproduct.

Not so sure about that. Titles which people have little or no knowledge about create intrigue. It’s also short and relatively unique (as a book title) so if it speaks to the major and interesting premise in the book then it could work really well.
