The Left needs to understand that wealth is created, not plundered. The Right needs to understand that sexual freedom is not in the Top Ten list of existential threats to civilization.

probably, if i had to bet I'd say the social conservatism of the right is the product of their alliance with the religious... fundamentalists (for the lack of a better word)
That's certainly true historically in the 70s through 90s. Today, I'm not sure.
