It's weird how politicians are exactly as good at tweeting funny things as stand-up comedians are at tweeting politically insightful things.

Odd to me that you believe comedians shouldn't be political. Isn't one of their origins the court jester, whose job was to mock the king and courtiers?
Comedians are free to be as political as they want. I'm just observing that they're terrible at it.
