Depends on the talent at the message. I could listen to Chappelle and Carlin do it all day. Others, not so much.

He could recite the Bible and I’d become religious. Is this implying you’re not a Carlin fan? His immense desire for govt to just leave him alone resonates loudly with me.

I appreciate Carlin's libertarian temperament, but always found his political humor preachy and unfunny.
