Depends on the talent at the message. I could listen to Chappelle and Carlin do it all day. Others, not so much.

I'm guessing that, for many, it depends on whether they are in the choir to which the comedian is preaching.

Yeah, questions like this and the answers just seem to mean exactly what you’ve said. I have both liberal and conservative friends and family who say this but also share videos of their favorite standup comedian opining on politics.
