Isn't it obvious that philosophers who are high in Neuroticism (anxiety, depression, pessimism) tend to be anti-natalist, and those who aren't tend to be pro-natalist? If so, why take seriously their pseudo-ethical post-hoc rationalizations for their temperaments?

I’m just confused as to why anti-natalist don’t commit suicide. Maybe I misunderstood their point but that seems to be a logical consequence of their philosophy. I haven’t been able to resolve that difference in philosophy versus actual behavior.

This seems to be the case, many depressing philosophies seem to be mere rationalizations for why the philosopher is feeling bad. I don't think it's a hard rule though. David Benatar to me doesn't seem to display any characteristics I associate with anxiety or depression.
