Many spouses of "sex addicts" have also speculated it is a "get out of jail free card" for serial adultery, visiting paid sex workers, infecting unsuspecting spouses with STDs, etc. These spouses feel victimized by sex addiction treatment centers that may cost thousands.
A reminder that 'sex addiction' and 'porn addiction' are not validated clinical diagnoses. Not in DSM-5, and not in ICD-11. Keep in mind all spectrums of interest are okay. I believe that sex education should be neutral. ‘Positive’ sex education makes people with low sex drives feel as if something is wrong with them as well. PORN IS OKAY AND IF YOU DONT WANT TO WATCH IT THATS OKAY TOO!

Absolutely... same for video games or any dopamine/pleasure centre engaging activity... The issue is in the extent to which there is attachment & lack of conscious choice / other important activities are neglected & relationships endangered.
