Yep - that shouldn’t happen. The fact that there are alternatives to breast feeding is a miracle. Also mothers shouldn’t be told that formula is better - especially in places where clean drinking water is hard to come by. It’s dangerous profiteering.

The standard American diet (SAD) is so poor today that in a significant amount of the population, formula -with its many many downfalls- can be better for babies than breastmilk, which can be loaded with trans fats passed through the mother’s diet

Under Obama the NYT never would've called us using our leverage to get concessions as blackmail/extortion. Anything to smear Trump. However, this is one of those rare cases where leaving it to the free market fails. No one promotes breast feeding, since there's no money in it.

This has nothing to do with free markets. This is public officials on their getting bribes game, and the corruption of government.
