That could be do at least in part to the fact that the demographic defined as millennials is aging. As people get older they trend more towards Republican because they tend to produce more and start paying more taxes…

I believe that. Indeed, I think it reflects an extremely effective GOP astroturf campaign to mobilize the believe that the GOP is anti-white male, even though most Dem leaders are of course white men.
