Do you have good estimates on how many people would move to England if it had open borders? 50 million in the next decade? 100 million? Do we seriously think that would work out well for anyone?

It would work out well for the immigrants. 100M of them. Assuming we weigh human wellbeing equally regardless of origin, that's quite a lot of improved quality of life you have to overbalance on the utilitarian seesaw.

Imagine that borders are completely open & it's cheap to immigrate between countries. Then the nation with the best social services & benefits will draw the world's poor in droves. Soon, that country will lose its ability to fund those benefits due to booming demand. The end ⌛ https://twitter.com/mxrk/status/1009555607395950592 …

Remember when all those millions of Romanians invaded the UK when Romania joined the EU? And that every media outlet was parroting the Tory claims that the airports would be inundated by millions of Romanians? Remember when it didn't happen?

The country will not have enough infrastructure to support this amount of immigration. In fact it’s an invasion!
