Where's your data that 'women and minorities are being driven out of science'? Their proportions have been increasing in every science for decades.

I mean, show me historical data that the % representation has dropped in the last few years due to this alleged 'alienation effect'.

That’s not what I said, and that is a very different interpretation.

Help me out then. What evidence would lead you to change your mind that women and minorities are being driven out of science by aspies being awkward or rude? Or is it an unfalsifiable hunch based on anecdotes?

Again, that’s not what I said. That piece is about bad behaviour more broadly. I have direct experience of this myself, as do many others

I’m not disagreeing with you that we need to accomodate neurodiversity, I’m saying that bad behaviour (including rudeness, inappropriate comments etc) also comes at a cost that needs to be considered.

You keep claiming that there's this big cost, and you haven't given any data that this cost exists, or answered my question about what data would make you change your mind about this issue.

I’m not claiming it, I’ve experienced it personally. And hearing the stories of many others, you’d be hard pressed to find any data that would change my mind.

If nothing would ever change your mind, there's no point in pretending that you're making a rational argument, or in arguing with you. Ciao.

Prof. Miller, in your Quillette article, you also fail to provide data for your claims. Are neurodivergent students breaking campus speech codes at a higher frequency than the neurotypical? If so, have other variables been controlled for (e.g sex, socio-econ., politics, etc)?
