Have you read or seen "altered carbon"? I think there is some necessity to death. A cleansing of the of arcane attitudes etc. I'm looking forward the burning out of some dead wood over the next 20 years or so.

Not when the dead wood is me though. And fixed attitudes are a fn of neuroplasticity worsening w age, I don't see why that's beyond fixing

Regenerative medicine is actively opposed by the FDA, so it is unlikely to become a reality unless enough people get out and advocate for it. Most stem cell therapies that were successful in clinical trials are nevertheless banned by the FDA.
