1 reason I've updated my intellectual strategy (e.g. all my weird & low-prestige experimenting): the number of people who call JB Peterson "stupid." If a life of serious science isn't enough to prove you're smart, then might as well let ppl call me stupid now & go wild!!!

I'm sorry you've never heard about developmental calibration and life history theory, which are major ev psych theories of how early experience might influence you, researched by people like my colleague Marco del Giudice.
