Bearing in mind that a lot of the people arguing for the freedom of conscience not to serve gay customers would also argue that it should be illegal to burn a flag. I don't think it's incoherent to treat private sexual relationships differently than public accommodations.
I just want a more principled argument from jurists about why these domains are treated so differently, since there are so many edge cases, e.g. sex workers selecting clients.

The sex worker hypo is fun, but probably a win for the sex worker since on top of her right to freedom of expression, she also has the right to privacy.
