What I learned today from replies to my tweets: journalists are all brave, brilliant, principled, patriotic superheroes of truth and righteousness, and we should be honored that they walk amongst us, dispensing their wisdom and inspiration.

Journalists should be lauded and criticized as individuals for their individual strengths and weaknesses. This recent push to delegitimize *journalism* as a profession is just another bad faith assault by ideologues who have no other means of responding to inconvenient info.
If you think I'm a bad faith ideologue, what exact ideology do you think I'm promoting? Genuinely curious, given my diverse patchwork of views of different issues.

In my mind, you seem to favor a right wing bias. The problem that I'm seeing, in both right and left, is a tendency to lump people into groups (think what Klein attempted to do to Sam Harris).
