I have a problem with the categorical denouncement, as well as the anti-elitism. I value expertise in all endeavors. Can’t we dispute journalists on a case-by-case basis?

I can’t think of one time any journalist ever mentioned, let alone attacked, an “evolutionary psychologist.” Can’t imagine too many people, elitist or not, would know what such a person does all day.
