Journalism is not at its best, but it doesnt mean it cant be done right. You are unfair to a lot of people, and you are being unnecessarily cocky. There are always people who talks shit about science/philosophy/art/the press, because its not their field. Dont be one of them.
I just think journalists need to be reminded that they're the servants of their readers, not their masters. They're the cocky ones who need a reality check. Urgently.

I can agree with that. The problem currently journalists are serving their and their readers confirmation biases, so everyone can be offended in their echo chambers. But there are still some people who are doing the actual work, and they are more important than ever.
