Radical idea: Suppose Americans actually trusted democracy for once, and we had a year of binding popular referendums on some key issues that politicians can't seem to resolve. What propositions should we vote on?

We are NOT a democracy. I wish that lie would end. We are of course a Constitutional Republic! Huge difference bud. Words are power, so to perpetuate a misunderstanding of what our government truly is just adds to the ignorance of our Sovereignty.

I know we're not a democracy, but lots of people make noises that we are, and pretend to trust democratic processes. So I wanted to highlight some situations where national democratic referenda would deliver outcomes from the constitutional republic...
