Obviously laundering money is bad whether via a mixer or Monero, mkay, but there are also legitimate reasons to not be an idiot with opsec (e.g. running all your txs out of the same metamask hot wallet as your .eth).

Plus, XMR is cheaper than a mixer. Stick with what you KNOW. The unknown is a massive OpSec risk.
