So what's the leading open source NoSQL database that's actually staying open source? That is, which is the one that's getting a fork to cover the features the founders are withholding from the community?
I think the Linux comparison would work if the Linux Foundation were in a position to withhold Enterprisey features from the kernel so that it could sell them separately.
