It was Jim Kardach, not Jim Karachi. And though he suggested the name, he didn't invent Bluetooth, which this seems to vaguely suggest. Nils Rydbeck and Johan Ullman of Ericsson originated the technology with work from Tord Wingren, Jaap Haartsen and Sven Mattisson.

Great account if you like that sort of thing. Unfortunately Bluetooth wasn't invented by Intel, it was developed at Ericsson hence the Scandinavian connection.
