Deleted my question because of bad wording. I didn't mean "more regulated" but "more risky". The coins you listed seem less risky to me?

yes thats you drinking the winklevii fud juice. Tether has a proven longer standing peg, and both tether and bitfinex have very strict kyc when dealing with conversion of crypto to fiat. Tether postions themselves to be insulated from US related issues.
