Yes for sure. Sam Harris has brought this up and it could take a societal shift in how we derive value. I like
@AndrewYangVFA’s plan of $1k a month because it offers more freedom but hardly complacency. Interested to see real-life trials.

Or not having to worry about meeting basic needs of livelihood can lead to having more time to pursue things you actually love doing in life. Like taking a job that pays much less, but allows you to enjoy/contribute/find more meaning in.
