People, actual fucking people, are watching scene after scene like this and are saying "bruuuh! best. movie. of. the. year"?
This is objectively bad. Someone with no idea about editing will notice it. My brain is on fire thinking that this is an OSCAR NOMINATED MOVIE! FUCK!

I JUST checked and the editor of #BohemianRhapsody is nominated for best editing. He's actually nominated.. ha...hahahaha...I'm gonna lose my fucking mind.

Wow, this blew up.
Well, here are two movies from 2018, that I wrote about, where the editing serves a narrative purpose:

Holy crap on a fork! This is blowing up again after the #Oscars BS.
Then take a look at this article that I wrote about a movie that does justice to the #LGBTQ community (something that #BohemianRhapsody definitely doesn't).

Good editing is when you don't notice the cuts. I loved this movie and was so engrossed I didn't notice the edits at all. It's only a problem when you over analyze out of context. Mission impossible - nice editing but way too long!

What made you think I was looking for the cuts? I was watching it like I watch any other movie & this scene took me outta the experience. And the thing is the rest of the movie is edited like this. But I can't put the entire movie over here. Hence the sample scene.

I haven't seen it yet, but surely that can't be a scene taken straight from the movie without extra tampering... is it?

Sadly, this is how the scene plays out in the movie.
