You try immigrating to a different country and leaving the comfort of the English language and the ease of the American culture behind. Assimilate fully and become an expat? Could you? Not everyone hates the countries and cultures they leave behind.

I suppose if there is no assimilation, there has to be division and that is what we call multiculturalism. If you come to America for a better life, the values you wanted from US should be held strong, otherwise you destroy what you came for. Very PC subject

The country and culture you were born into is as beautiful and personal to you as your name. It is the sweetest sound you hear. When it is gone, and suddenly you are surrounded by strangers, you would pine for it.

Besides, second generation immigrants do fully assimilate. It just takes time. All this anger and impatience is beginning to sound racist.
