You realize you're using a machine that gives you access to the accumulated knowledge of mankind to brag about your ignorance, right?
Good point! After quick Wikipedia: @ambertamblyn is the daughter of accomplished Academy Award nominee Russ Tamblyn and wife of David Cross. No wonder she leans on the "woman as victim" narrative. She's had nothing but privilege.
Amazing how you suddenly believe in privilege now that you can weaponize it against a woman that you only started a fight with to score cheap political points.
George - obviously privileges exist - you're privileged to live in America, for instance. But it depends on individual circumstances. For instance, @ambertamblyn's individual circumstance (wealth, geography, nepotism) is one of great privilege.
...and? Seriously, what's your point with this ad hominem attack? I mean, I get that you want to score cheap "Gotcha!" points against Hollywood, but is that really all you care about? Do you not care about the actual victims of harassment and assault? Such as Amber Tamblyn?
Just explaining how the concept of "privilege" is better suited to individuals than groups. Being a woman doesn't make @ambertamblyn privileged, being the daughter of a well-known actor sure does. Plus, having fellas like you come to her defense is a nice privilege!
Ah, of course, the white-knight card. Congratulations, that scores 6 points in this game of Internet Debate! Please take your trophy and let the rest of us discuss how to make the world better.
Thanks!
Best to you.
