Bad upbringings don't justify bad behavior individually, but in aggregate terms it explains why we get higher rates of it. If we want better behavior at scale, we need to employ systemic approaches that address the problems before they are created.

My daughter was told that being born low income was a trauma. She had to ignore bad behavior because it’s culture. She got attacked and no longer teaches.
