If there are people living on the street in as you say "the finest economy we've had in memory", then maybe it should tell us something about who is benefiting from said economy. But sure, let's criminalize poverty, that's the conservative way after all.

I would have phrased it differently. When you allow homelessness to happen and no one does anything concrete to pull people out of poverty, well, then you get more homelessness. Or at least equally.
