Term limits are anti democratic. Much easier for private interest to purchase new waves of politicians than it is to get rid of one that is actually supported by the people.

This is false. The founders never expected people to be lifelong politicians. Partly because government power was so restricted. If the Founders never intended people to be lifelong politicians, they would have listed Term limits in the Constitution.

If the founders didn’t want people to be lifelong politicians, then they should’ve said so in the constitution. . They also probably didn’t think people would live as long as they are now (SCOTUS). . We can fix that
