Actually, as we get in better data on mild cases, we are finding that the overall mortality is rather average. Nursing homes were hit hard in 2018 as well. We just did not have the same media panic.

These are the same people who will compare AIDS pandemic with Covid-19. Both COVID-19 and the flu are respiratory illnesses. But COVID-19 is not the flu. Research so far indicates that COVID-19 spreads more easily and has a higher death rate than the flu.

plus, any pneumonia related death is being included with Covid-19 related deaths, which was separated out from the Flu statistics until they lumped them in 2015. Now they are lumping them with Covid-19 deaths. total BS
