Not the entire truth. Vaccines and herd immunity lessen the death rate. That has not happene yet, as Covid 19 is new and not understood as much as the flu. We've been treating the flu for a lot time and can approach. Flu season kast 13 weeks, Covid has been about 6 weeks.

I don't want this lockdown either, and I know that we are operating with constantly changing, half-proven information. But it's the best we can do at the moment.

If our memories serves us right, the flu did not kill over 60 thousand Americans in less than 3 months

If memory serves, Flu season lasts about 7 months. The 2017-2018 flu season killed nearly 80,000 (CDC website), with peak months Dec - Mar. Oh yea, and there is a vaccine. Wuhan Virus so much worse, yea right.
