If the market had the best interests of the environment in mind climate change would have been solved a long time ago. Instead, there are Coca Cola bottles on our beaches and BP oil in our water. There is CO2 in the air from Ford and GM and Jeep cars.

Governments are never the solution to anything. Plus, the recent change in production and CO² emissions should have had an impact on climate. It hasn't, because we can't control the climate. again? We cannot control or change the climate. (unless we start WW3 with nukes n'shit)

Amazing! Good sir, you should document your findings in a paper, get it peer reviewed, and publish it. If what you're saying is true, you'd turn the past 100 years of research on it's head and maybe even win a Nobel prize. What are you waiting for?!

No one is saying fracking doesn't lead to less emmissions. Total strawman. People don't like fracking because it's linked to having negative health effects on local residents by polluting water supplies.

Also what's with the assumption that companies will always move in the direction of cleaner technology on their own? If a new technology is twice as pollutant at half the cost, what do you think most companies will do? Choose the cost efficient solution.

The left made a Proposal to solve a problem. The right didn't do that.
