I have had someone call the police on me twice for playing hockey by myself here in PA at an open park. I had Clorox wipes that I used to wipe down anything I may have touched. Not one other person within 200 yards of me.

A woman was arrested in Raleigh, NC today for protesting peacefully. The police say that protesting is not essential (that’s a direct quote).

Governments should endeavour to manage the virus with the economy running. Lockdowns are, in the long run, unsustainable ... it probably is the world's worst and most unprofitable, unfair pyramid scheme.

I heard the DOJ is going to address this soon. Clearly we're dealing with extra-Constitutional political behavior. But I was aghast about 20-30 years ago when "for health purposes" was used as a legal shortcut to address some homeless issues. No one seemed to mind then.

Yes, when police close the beaches for health and safety reasons, and people know they've closed the beaches, they should definitely not do anything about the people who decide it's ok for "just me" to use the beaches because no one else will be there.

Sounds like the stunt pulled off by former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
