I look forward to your "If social isolation doesn't continue.." post written with some input from actual doctors, scientists, and my elderly mom.

Social isolation will continue even if people had the choice. People are scared to go into public places with large groups of people. People are smart and innovative and will adjust. Smart business owners will figure out a way to supply what’s in demand.

If restaurants all close it will have a major impact on the grocery/transportation sector as well, as a large portion of that daily commerce goes to food services. This could result in overstocking and spoilage issues at warehouses and distribution centers, and down the chain.

Yup have focused a bit on foodservice manufacturing; the downstream loss of schools alone is staggering (which is why our local dairy farmers are dumping milk to keep prices up). Tons of people are employed in food manufacturing & peripheral businesses b/c of FS alone.

Agreed, Lyin' Prager, that's the rules under Capitalism, supply and demand is the controlling factor. Are you suggesting workers man-up and get back to work?
